What’s the Small Change Index?
Every real estate project has inherent characteristics related to its potential impact on the community, such as walkability, access to transit, sustainability and affordability. At Small Change, each developer is required to complete our proprietary Change Index survey as part of the onboarding process.
The project’s key impact data points are displayed on each offering page with a unique Change Index icon.
The Change Index focuses on impact in 3 ways.

It measures the potential impact of every project.

It identifies developers and neighborhoods historically left behind.

Reg CF allows developers include the community in their projects.
Say hello to the Small Change Indexโข.
The Change Index uses data points such as an areaโs walkability & bikeability, public transit access, proximity to green space, availability of commercial and cultural amenities along with the makeup of the team and benefits to the community to gauge the possibilities of a project.
Our Change Index keeps us on the straight and narrow. Offerings on the Small Change platform must score at least 60% to be listed.
