Neighborhood Ventures Uses Small Change Crowdfunding Platform To Raise Funds for Its Next Phoenix Property
Renovations Planned for 30-Unit Residential Complex
PHOENIX – August 25, 2022 – Neighborhood Ventures, an Arizona-based development firm, is raising capital through SmallChange.co, a mission-driven crowdfunding platform for real estate development, for the purchase and renovation of a 30-unit property at 3432 N. 12th Place in North Central Phoenix.
The offering follows 12 projects purchased and renovated by Neighborhood Ventures, including one — Venture on Country Club – that was crowdfunded on SmallChange.co. For that project, which involved the conversion of a hotel in Mesa, Arizona, into a multi-unit rental building, Neighborhood Ventures raised $572,000 from investors on the platform.*
The latest project, Venture on 12th Place, encompasses the purchase of six separate buildings and a shared courtyard, all completed in 1971. Neighborhood Ventures plans to renovate the interior of each unit, replacing fixtures, hardware, flooring, and appliances, and painting. Exterior renovations will include painting, the installation of new doors, and upgraded landscaping, transforming unusable spaces into much desired outdoor gathering areas.
“When developers return to the SmallChange.co platform, it tells us that they care about building a community of everyday investors, just as we do,” says Eve Picker, founder and CEO of SmallChange.co. “We are delighted to host Neighborhood Ventures a second time.”
Investment minimums start at $1,000 and anyone 18 or older can invest.
