In New York this month, the American Academy of Arts and Letters announced its 2020 architecture award winners. Since 1955 the annual award has grown to include the original Arnold W. Brunner Memorial Prize along with four more awards. The recipients were chosen from 34 nominations.
Jonathan Tate is a winner!. He was awarded an Arts and Letters Award in Architecture for work is characterized by a strong personal direction. Jonathan has been lauded for his experimental designs. The work that is created in his studio, OJT (Office of Jonathan Tate), is experimental in other ways as well. Starter Home Two, two architecturally bold, affordable houses built on oddly-shaped lots in an inner-city neighborhood of New Orleans, was the first ever crowdfunding project on Small Change.
Congratulations to all.
