Starter Home Two was the first ever successful Regulation Crowdfunding raise listed on Small Change.

The equity raised from the community of Small Change investors was used to leverage a loan to construct two single family homes in New Orleans. The Office of Jonathan Tate (OJT) designed these affordable homes to conform with their Starter Home program. Built on oddly-shaped lots, the houses are located at 3609 – 3613 S.Saratoga Street, in Milan, an inner-city neighborhood of New Orleans. Although only 1,400-square-feet in size, both houses boast three bedrooms and two bathrooms as well as being fitted out with energy efficient appliances.

Both houses have been completed and one has sold. The new homeowners are happy as can be, and so are we.
